Facilities

At Pink Flamingo the wild life is something extra thrown in. You'll notice the difference the minute you arrive.

• The pool: it's heated, surrounded by tropical garden with sunbathing spots and coconut palms if you'd rather sit in the cool shade.
• The gym: for those that feel the need to work for their indulgence, there's a treadmill, cycle and free weights.
• The poolroom: this is a lesbian and gay resort after all, so rack up your balls!
• Bicycle hire: all big hills have been removed to make the going easy into Port Douglas or along the beach.

Activities

Accommodation

There are 10 one-bed room villas, two studios and one two-bedroom villa. Of course they offer comfort, but there's a lot more besides. Be who you want to be… there's enough privacy to perform a full mirror concert without anyone knowing a thing!

One-bedroom villas

Each villa is set in a private courtyard. At the doorway you'll find a pink flamingo for signalling that you don't want to be disturbed. Step past the portico and immediately luxuriate in the tropical foliage that surrounds your villa. Step past the intricate decorative woodwork that adorns the entrance and immediately smell the tropical flowers that festoon your villa. The bright décor creates an inviting and relaxing atmosphere. The living room has a galley kitchen complete with wet bar, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Cushion piled daybeds make an art form out of relaxation.

TV/VCR, CD player, air-conditioning and fans mean you can create the perfect atmosphere for your mood. ISD/STD phones with modem point keep you in touch with the outside world while computers are available for accessing emails and the internet. In the bedroom, you'll find a king-size bed; big enough to roll for days in any direction, and of course an ensuite bathroom.

Step out from the living room into your own private garden featuring a massage cabana and a sunken outdoor bath. Salts and flowers are available from the gift shop for you to create your ideal soaking environment.

Two bedroom villas

Set in its own private courtyard, the two-bedroom villa offers secluded bliss. A pink flamingo stands guard at your doorway. Once inside you'll see and smell the tropical flowers that fill each room. The bright décor creates an inviting and relaxing atmosphere. There's a fully equipped separate kitchen.

There is a separate living area and dining room, and TV/VCR, CD player, air-conditioning and fans mean you can create the perfect atmosphere for your mood. ISD/STD phones with modem point keep you in touch with the outside world while computers are available for accessing emails and the Internet. In each of the two bedrooms, you'll find vast king-size beds. The villa is completed with daybeds that make an art form out of relaxation.

Your own private garden features a sunken bath and a massage cabana. The cabana has a double hammock for lazy afternoons or perhaps sea-faring fantasies. Massages and facials are available in the comfort of your cabana.

Studio villas

The ambiance begins right at the door where you'll find a pink flamingo for signalling that you don't want to be disturbed. Tropical flowers abound in your room, greeting you with their scent.
